  The Open Ear Listening and Learning Program (OELP)  
 

Pat Moffitt Cook with childThe Open Ear Listening Program(OELP) provides two auditory stimulation and education programs: the Tomatis Method and the home monitored Listening Fitness Program.

First developed in the 1940s, Dr. Alfred Tomatis, physician (ENT), psychologist and researcher, provided an intervention that has significantly changed the lives of thousands in learning centers, schools and clinics worldwide in the treatment of auditory processing and sensory integration problems, learning disabilities, and for the improvement of speech and body movement.

Requirements and Participation

The OELP begins with an initial assessment and the development of an individualized program. Assessments are given each year on Bainbridge Island and Seattle, WA.
